About us:

The Chauncey F. Lufkin III Foundation is a charitable organization ( NTEE Category: T Philanthropy, Voluntarism, and Grantmaking T22 ) founded in 2006 dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals around the world.  Our foundation’s focus is on fighting poverty through better education and by finding faster cures for the diseases that affect loved ones. Our strategy is to comb the globe for private independent foundations effectively working on these issues, supporting them with financial injections that make a difference.

Here are just a few of the programs that we support:

The Robin Hood Foundation works with more than 240 nonprofit organizations in New York and surrounding areas to alleviate problems caused by poverty as well as administers relief funds for disasters in the New York City area. 100 percent of every donation goes directly to programs helping poor New Yorkers.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded in 1962, is a pediatric treatment and research facility focused on children's catastrophic diseases.

The Milken Institute is an independent economic think tank based in Santa Monica, California.  FasterCures, a center of the Milken Institute, is an action tank that works to speed up and improve the medical research process to accelerate patient access to innovative treatments.

The Aspen Institute is an educational and policy studies organization based in Washington, DC. Its mission is to foster leadership based on enduring values and to provide a nonpartisan venue for dealing with critical issues.

BizWorld's  mission is to challenge and engage elementary and middle school children across the cultural and economic spectrum with fun, hands-on entrepreneurship programs that promote financial responsibility, leadership, and teamwork. By teaching them leadership, entrepreneurship and business skills, students are better prepared to tackle the academic challenges of the 21st century.   Based in San Mateo, CA, BizWorld is in the heart of Silicon Valley bringing this area’s creativity and energy to our future leaders of tomorrow.
